The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, May 21 reveals Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will be shocked by what she finds.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will suggest a truce to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will join Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) in New York City. And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will spill some hard facts to Nikki.
Y&R spoilers tease Lily, Stephanie and Holden will walk into his hotel room. There’ll be a bottle of champagne waiting for them, from Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). They’ll crack it open and Lily will call Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to thank him for what he did.

She’ll add that Malcolm’s team are optimistic. Cane will ask how long she’ll be in New York. “Anywhere from two weeks to a month,” she’ll reply. “That long?” Cane will ask. But she’ll say Malcolm told her she doesn’t need to stay that long and she’ll let Cane know when she’s heading back home.
Lily and Stephanie will head back to the hospital and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will arrive. She’ll come bearing a gift she found in a vintage store. It’s a leather jacket that says Winters Motorcycles. Holden will love it and they’ll kiss.
As for Cane, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will show up and tell Cane he hasn’t been arrested yet but he’s worried he will be. Cane will say he’s sorry there’s not much he can do about it. But Billy will tell him there could be a way to save both of them.
Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will ask his father if he’s still planning to use Patty to go after Victor. Jack will say he’s still going to do it. “What have I got to lose?” he’ll add. “He’s already ruined my life, maybe he needs a taste of his own medicine.”
At the ranch, Victor will glare at Nikki as she walks in. They’ll start arguing and Nikki will say she’s fed up with the bickering. “I’m here for a more important reason, our son.” She’ll say they need to call a truce, for their son’s sake.
However, Victor will say he’s not going to apologize for taking back what’s his. Nikki will say if he can’t put his son’s welfare above his own ego, he has problems. “You are just as stubborn and vindictive as ever,” Nikki will add and storm out.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jack Tells Nikki That Victor Paid Patty
She’ll end up at Society and will tell Jack that her son is addicted to fentanyl. Talk will turn to Victor. “I cornered Patty Williams the other day,” Jack will tell say. “She told me the truth, Victor is behind all of it, bringing Patty to town, having me abducted. He paid her to do that, that’s who your husband is.”
In his hotel room, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will wake up, trying to scream. But he’s been gagged. Patty will come to the door and he’ll try to cry out. She’ll ask a maid to let her in and they’ll see Matt lying on the floor inside.
The maid will offer to call security, but Patty will tell her she and her boyfriend like to do kinky things. She’ll give her a generous tip, take the gag out of Matt’s mouth, and ask what happened to him. “Phyllis,” he’ll reply. He’ll tell Patty that he turned his back on Phyllis and she knocked him on the head.
She’ll say he’s lucky, he could have died. But Matt will say maybe he’d be better off. “I found out some pretty horrible things about myself.” Patty will tell Matt she just found out Phyllis was arrested for stealing the Newmans’ company and she suspects she was going to trade him in so the charges would be dropped. Matt will ask if she’d really do that and Patty will say she’s more than capable.
Finally, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will meet up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at the park cafe. He’ll lie and tell her Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will make the deal. All she has to do is hand Matt over. “I put my life in Christine’s hands?” Phyllis will reply. “That is not about to happen.” So Nick will ask what assurances she needs.
“The charges dropped, in writing, take it or leave it,” Phyllis will say. However, Nick will say he can’t wave a magic wand to make that happen, until she hands Matt over. But Phyllis will take off and Nick will follow. She’ll open the hotel room door and find Matt gone. Nick will walk in and tell her if she doesn’t find Matt, all bets are off. Phyllis will say she’s sure he’s with Patty. But how are they going to find them?
